Grad event takes place through March 24

Graduating students are frequenting the Bookie Grad Salute this week to get graduation necessities in order. Larry Barao and Albert Ocoma, both volunteers at the event, help students receive free cap and gown rentals. The free rentals are only available at the Bookie through March 24 with the purchase of a Framing Success diploma frame.

The Grad Salute, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., also allows students to order graduation announcements, purchase class rings, and get their photos taken for the Chinook Yearbook.

Many booths are set up to provide information to the students as well. Some departments with booths include Career Services, Financial Aid, Graduate School, International Programs, Alumni Association and Undergraduate Degrees.
