Tickets on Sale Monday (March 21) for One-Night-Only Performance of “Grease”

PULLMAN, Wash. – Tickets will go on sale Monday (March 21) for a one-night performance of the off-Broadway musical “Grease” at Washington State University’s Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum. The performance is set for 8 p.m. April 29.

Travel back in time to when beehives were in and coifs were cool. One of Broadway’s longest-running musicals, “Grease” is a nostalgic and tuneful look at growing up in the 1950s.

Tickets are $35 and $43, with a $5 discount for WSU students, faculty and staff. Tickets are available at all TicketsWest outlets, by phone at (800) 325-SEAT and online at www.beasley.wsu.edu.

“Grease” is the story of Danny Zuko, king of the Burger Palace Boys, and Sandy Dumbrowski, a naïve transfer student whose life changes when she meets Rizzo, leader of the Pink Ladies.

“Grease” revisits the classic rock ‘n’ roll sounds of the ‘50s with songs such as “We Go Together,” “Greased Lightning,” Beauty School Dropout” and “Summer Nights.”  Producers made special arrangements to include songs from the movie version, such as “Hopelessly Devoted to You” and “You’re the One That I Want.”

For more information, contact Russ Driver, Beasley Coliseum, at (509) 335-2241 or visit the coliseum Web site at www.beasley.wsu.edu.
