Ceramic sale sends students to national conference

Artistic and functional ceramics by students are on sale 9 a.m.-4 p.m. through Friday, March 11, on the outdoor plaza north of the Fine Arts Center along Wilson Road.

The sale is a fund raiser by six ceramics students to help pay their way to the National Council for the Education of Ceramic Arts conference during spring break. It’s their fourth sale of the year and they hope to have one more this spring, said Marc Wallace, president of the WSU Pyromaniacs Clay Club.

The Ceramics Department donated clay and kiln time to the students’ efforts.
