WSU ‘Pink’ Exhibit Explores Women’s Issues

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University will display “Pink,” an installation of photography, documentary and environment Jan. 10 through Feb. 3 at the Compton Union Gallery.

Created as collaboration between installation artist and WSU staff member Anna Maria Shannon, documentary maker Brenda Congdon and photographer Beryl Striewski, the exhibit explores women’s issues through personal experience and anecdote.

Shannon, Congdon and Striewski will present a program about their work at a Jan. 20 Art a la Carte brown-bag noon lecture in the CUB, Room 123, on the Pullman campus.

These arts and culture programs, offered through the WSU Office of Campus Involvement, are free and open to the public. The CUB Gallery is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
