Book Signing for “What We Think” Features Student Contributor

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University’s Student Book Corp. will host two Dec. 13 book signings for “What We Think: Young Voters Speak Out,” with WSU student contributor Sarah Timm.

The first book signing will be from 3-5 p.m. at the “Bookie, Too,” 405 N.E. Stadium Way, and from 6-8 p.m. at the campus Bookie location.

“What We Think: Young Voters Speak Out” is a nationally marketed and distributed nonpartisan book. The entries contain thoughts, opinions, prose and commentary on political and social issues from students ages 18 to 24 from nearly 100 universities.

The book and several contributors have been featured guests on CNN and MSNBC. The essays, poems and pictures are provocative, passionate and honest. Timm’s entry, “Satisfaction,” is a reflective quip on practical sexism in America.

Publisher Dean Robbins said, “The fundamental idea behind ‘What We Think: Young Voters Speak Out’ is to provide a venue for the song of our generation to be sung and heard…It also provides a forum that permits the exchange of the thoughts and opinions of America’s next generation.”

“What We Think” was released Oct. 25 and is available at online at www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com. For more information, visit www.collegetreepublishing.com or call Michael Pritiken, general book manager for the Bookie, at (509) 335-2537, ext. 353.
