WSU Announcements streamlined

Using WSU Announcements, the university e-mail information service, is about to get easier.

As of Nov. 15, those wishing to submit or subscribe to WSU Announcements may do so online at http: announcements.wsu.edu, said Barbara Petura, associate vice president for University Relations.

“While subscribers will still receive WSU Announcements twice daily, faculty, staff and student organizations can submit announcements by typing them on the website,” said Molly Parrish, electronic communication specialist, WSU News Service. “From there they will be automatically formatted and sent to the News Service for distribution.”

This new ability to submit information via a website will make it easier for WSU News Service to send the announcements out to more than 2,700 subscribers, Parrish said.
