WSU Dance Concert Set for Oct. 29-30

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University Theatre Arts Program will present its fall 2004 dance concert “Dance for my Father” at 8 p.m. Oct. 29-30 in Daggy Hall’s Jones Theatre as part of Dad’s Weekend entertainment.

The performance will consist of various dance styles, including modern, jazz, hip hop, clogging, belly dance and ballet. Students from the beginning, intermediate and advanced modern dance and jazz classes choreographed and will perform the dances auditioned for the concert, as well as dances choreographed by instructor Phyllis K. Gooden-Young. 

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7.50 for seniors and $5 for children and WSU students with ID. The Daggy Hall box office is open Wednesday through Friday (Oct. 27-29) from 2-5:30 p.m. the week of the show and one hour before curtain.
