Wall Street Journal editor to speak at WSU

Bryan Gruley, a senior editor in the Washington Bureau of the Wall Street Journal, will speak at Washington State University Friday, Oct. 22 from 1:10-2 p.m. in the new Murrow Communication Addition Auditorium, Room 21.

Gruley is a member of the WSJ’s Sept. 11 Pulitzer Prize-winning team. In April 2003, he visited the WSU campus to accept the Edward R. Murrow Award for Distinguished Achievement in Journalism on behalf of the family of slain WSJ reporter Daniel Pearl.

The event is free and open to all university students, faculty and staff, and the community. It is sponsored by the WSU student chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication.
