PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University Summer Session will present a Friday, July 23, reading of contemporary literature by fiction writers from its English 357 class.
The reading will be from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Cafe Moro, on the corner of Main Street and Grand Avenue in downtown Pullman.
The event is the culmination of a 10-day intensive creative writing workshop in which students immersed themselves in the eclectic and unpredictable life of the working literary artist. Stories tones range from grave to funny as students strive to directly interpret places, people and situations encountered as part of the class.
Featured writers include Christine Brehan, Amanda McMahan, Jamie Swenson and Ted Tremper.
