Dan Maher Performs ‘Music on the Mall’ June 30

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University will present Music on the Mall with Dan Maher from noon to 1 p.m. June 30.

Maher, a full-time program coordinator for WSU’s Office of Campus Involvement, is a well-known and respected Northwest folk singer and song collector. His influences are as wide as his knowledge, from country to Celtic to bluegrass and blues.

His easy-going performances make concertgoers feel as if they are sitting in their own living rooms listening to a private show. “Music is still the best way to involve folks,” Maher said.

Maher is also known for his public radio listeners in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and parts of British Columbia. His show, Inland Folk, has been running for 23 years. He is at work on a fifth album, scheduled for release next summer.

University Catering will sell food at the event.
