‘Dance Carnival,’ Dec. 5-6

Washington State University School of Music and Theatre present its fall dance concert at 8 p.m. on December 5 and 6 in Daggy Hall’s Jones Theatre. The event will feature members of the WSU’s Elite Dance Company along with the jazz and modern dance classes. They will perform works by dance instructor Phyllis Gooden-Young.

Along with the class dances, fifteen student-choreographed works will be presented in this year’s concert. Dances range from a Sailor dance set to Celtic music to a modern piece based on a hip-hop/rap mix. There is a little bit of something for all to enjoy.
