PULLMAN, Wash. — The Palouse Area Therapeutic Horsemanship Program, a community service program of Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine for people with physical and mental disabilities, is once again serving the Inland Northwest.
The session will run Oct. 14 through Nov. 19 with classes on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
The program is also looking for volunteers. There will be an orientation meeting from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Oct. 6 in the Animal Disease Biotechnology Facility, Room 1002, for those who would like to join the program. A training session will be held Oct. 8 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the stable. These meetings are mandatory for all new volunteers. Everybody is welcome. No experience is necessary.
