WSU Today welcomes assistant editor

Cynthia L. King joined the staff of WSU Today as assistant editor on July 31.

King comes to WSU Today from Helena, Mont., having served on the staff of that region’s daily newspaper, the Independent Record, for approximately 20 years — 15 as a copy editor, two years as assistant city editor, and three as a reporter.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism in 1981 from the University of Idaho, with a minor in biology.

“King is a great addition to the WSU Today staff, bringing a wealth of journalistic experience and insights,” said editor Robert Frank. “I encourage faculty and staff to contact her or me to provide insights on articles, coverage and items of interest.”
