PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University Freshman Seminar students will present research projects on many of today’s major issues during an April 24 Research Seminar set for the WSU campus.
From collegiate athletics and its impact on the environment of WSU to homelessness in Eastern Washington, the students have worked throughout the semester to research solutions to the problems and issues surrounding these and other topics.
Their Web-based projects will be on display at the symposium, which is open to the public. Nineteen Freshman Seminar classes will present their findings on different topics of interest from 3-5 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Smith Center for Undergraduate Education.
One student will represent his/her class and present the Web page to viewers at the symposium.
Refreshments will be served throughout the event, and guests are encouraged to ask questions and evaluate the projects.
