Vancouver to hold MOSAIC fair

WSU Vancouver’s Diversity Task Force will host a MOSAIC — Meet Our Students And Investigate College — fair 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17, in the Student Services Building, Room 129. The event, titled “Many Faces, One Vision,” is designed to encourage individuals of diverse or multicultural backgrounds to investigate the educational opportunities available at WSU Vancouver.

At MOSAIC, prospective students will learn about WSU Vancouver’s academic programs, talk with professors, tour campus facilities and explore scholarship and financial aid opportunities during two information sessions at 10 a.m. and at noon. There will be drawings for door prizes and special entertainment will be provided at 12:45 p.m. by comedian Tiny Glover. WSU Vancouver students will be on hand throughout the day to discuss student organizations and campus activities that emphasize cultural diversity. MOSAIC participants will receive a coupon waiving the University’s standard application fee, should they choose to apply to WSU Vancouver.

Sponsors of the Mosaic Fair include Columbia Credit Union, The Columbian, Hewlett Packard, the Associated Students of Washington State University Vancouver, WSU Vancouver Student Book Corporation and Student Services.

The event is free and open to all multicultural or diverse adults interested in investigating college.
