Owen Science open house set for 3 – 5 p.m. Nov. 1

An open house celebrating the completion of a technology remodeling project at the Owen Science and Engineering Library will be held 3-5 p.m. today, Nov. 1, on the library’s first floor atrium area.

The library has added wireless capability, hotwired carrels, office software workstations, upgraded Internet connections, a new reference/information center, Internet links in upper floor conference/group study rooms and areas designed for collaborative learning.

A 3:30 p.m. program will include remarks from Ginny Steel, WSU Libraries director, and Cindy Kaag, head of Science Libraries.

Guides will be available to show visitors the new features and facilities.
