DOJ representative to present assessment

On Oct. 29 a Department of Justice Community Relations Service mediator will discuss her recommendations following assessment of the Sept. 8 Attic nightclub incident in downtown Pullman.

Rosa Melendez, Region 10 director of the CRS, will present the recommendations on what to do to move forward in better community relations at 4 p.m. in Todd Hall, Room 268.

On Sept. 17-18, Melendez visited with students and others who were at the nightclub as well as university and city officials. She said her main focus is to bring communities together to communicate and discuss their differences.
