Session to Discuss Possible WSU Shuttle System Sept. 9-10

PULLMAN, Wash. — Campus Shuttle Study consultants, Nelson/Nygaard Consulting Associates, will be at Washington State University next week to conduct a design session to develop plans for a proposed campus shuttle system.

The Portland-based firm will conduct an open house style session Monday, Sept. 9, from noon-7 p.m. in the Compton Union Building, Rooms 108-109.

Interested parties are encouraged to attend the session, which includes such topics as scheduling, shuttle stop locations, funding options, and types and sizes of buses, said John Shaheen, director of the Parking, Transportation and Visitor Center at WSU.

The consultants will be able to discuss the survey findings again at an open house Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 5:30-7 p.m. in the CUB, Rooms 108-109. The public is invited to attend one or both sessions. Results from last spring’s on-campus transportation needs survey will also be available at both sessions.
