UPDATE: Gas Leak Closes Part of Stadium Way

Editor’s Update: At 11:45 a.m., Washington State University police said Stadium Way had been reopened. Crews were working to repair the six-inch natural gas line. The buildings that were closed have reopened.

PULLMAN, Wash.–Washington State University Police report that Stadium Way from Nevada to Grimes Way has been closed while crews repair a natural gas line leak at the shock physics construction site.

Several buildings have been evacuated: Gannon, Goldsworthy and Waller residence halls and Neill and Webster university buildings.

No one will be allowed in the buildings for at least the next hour, officials reported shortly before 11 a.m.
