WSU Spring Commencement Dates Set

PULLMAN, Wash. — Nearly 1,800 Washington State University students are expected to participate in the 106th annual spring commencement ceremonies May 11 at the Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum.

President V. Lane Rawlins will confer degrees at the ceremonies, scheduled for three separate times throughout the day to accommodate the thousands of friends and family members expected to attend.

The ceremony for the College of Agriculture and Home Economics, College of Engineering and Architecture, College of Pharmacy, College of Sciences and College of Veterinary Medicine will begin at 8 a.m. The ceremony for College of Liberal Arts will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the ceremony for the College of Business and Economics, College of Education and College of Nursing is set for 3 p.m. Graduates should begin lining up at the coliseum 30 minutes before the start of each ceremony.

WSU Spokane and the Intercollegiate College of Nursing / WSU College of Nursing will hold commencement at 2 p.m., May 10, at the Spokane Opera House. WSU Tri Cities will hold its ceremony at 6 p.m., May 17, at the Tri-City Coliseum, 7100 W. Quinault Ave., Kennewick. WSU Vancouver will have its commencement ceremony at 1 p.m., May 18, WSU Vancouver Campus Plaza.

Some 3,200 WSU undergraduates and 350 graduate students from the Pullman campus are expected to receive degrees this spring.
