WSU Health and Wellness Offers Extended Body Composition Analyses

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University’s Health and Wellness Services will provide extended hours of body composition analyses at the Student Recreation Center.

Body composition analysis is accomplished through a process known as bioelectric impedance. During the process, a scale passes a small electrical current through the body for an estimation of body fat percentage. The process is easy to administer, noninvasive and safe. HWS says the analyses are very accurate with a standard error of +/- 3.5 percent.

Extended hours are:
April 2 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
April 4 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
April 6 8 a.m. to Noon.
April 16 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
April 17 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Body composition analyses will be held in the HWS office at the SRC. The tests are free and no appointments are necessary. For more information, contact Tim Freson, Wellness Programs Fitness Coordinator, at (509) 335-6474.
