WSU Solstice Wind Quintet Sets June 14 Concert

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University Solstice Wind Quintet performs June 14, featuring guest pianist Gerald Berthiaume for a performance of Ludwig Thuille’s “Sextet, Op. 6, for Piano and Wind Quintet.” The 7 p.m. program is set for the WSU Museum of Art.

Also included in the concert will be “Divertimento in B Flat” by Franz Joseph Haydn; “La Cheminée du Roi René” by Darius Milhaud; and “Wapango” by Paquito D’Rivera.

Quintet members are Ann Yasinitsky, flute; Gary Plowman, oboe; James Schoepflin, clarinet; Susan Hess, bassoon; and Roger Logan, horn.
