WSU Press Book Sale Set for April 21

PULLMAN, Wash. — A wide selection of books about Northwest and western history, people, politics, art and poetry will be available at the annual Washington State University Press Spring Sale, set from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 21 in WSU’s Holland Library rotunda.

Slightly damaged books, including Ladd Hamilton’s “This Bloody Deed,” “Buffalo Coat” by Carol Ryrie Brink and “Honor in the House: Speaker Tom Foley,” will be on sale for savings of up to 70 percent off their original prices. In addition, new copies of all WSU Press titles will be discounted by 20-30 percent.

A popular element of the sale is the selection of overstock books available for as little as $1 to $4 each. Among the overstock titles are “Panoramas of Promise: Pacific Northwest Cities and Towns on 19th-Century Lithographs” and “Built in Washington: 12,000 Years of Pacific Northwest Archaeological Sites and Historic Buildings.”

All sales are first come, first served, and quantities on some titles are limited. The discounts continue April 23-27 by calling in a book order to the WSU Press office, 509/335-3518.
