PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University faculty members will discuss the world of the 1890s in a series of lectures open to the public Sept. 18-22.
The series, called Thompson Topics, will celebrate the rededication of Thompson Hall on the WSU campus. Faculty from the history, foreign languages and architecture departments will focus on topics ranging from women in the 1890s to a look at Thompson Hall through the 20th century.
The programs are planned as follows:
Monday, Sept. 18

Tuesday, Sept. 19

Wednesday, Sept. 20
–“Catholicism, Marxism and the Popularization of Piety in Imperial Germany,” Raymond Sun, CUB B11-15, noon.
