WSU Lavender Graduation Set April 26

PULLMAN, Wash. — Graduating students who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or
transgendered and their allies will be honored for academic and other
achievements during Washington State University’s Lavender Graduation.

It begins at 7 p.m. April 26 in the Compton Union Building, Cascade Rooms
125-127. This is the third year for the annual event, held prior to the WSU
commencement.

Melynda Huskey, WSU Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Allies Program director,
will preside. She will recognize graduating students. In addition, the Gay,
Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered and Allies Committee, a student group, will
present awards.
