WSU STAGE Company Plans April Production

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University’s STAGE theatre club will
present its production of “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead” April
12-15 at Daggy Hall’s Wadleigh Theatre on the WSU campus.

The play is written by Tom Stoppard, who co-wrote last year’s Academy
Award-winning motion picture “Shakespeare In Love.” The farce is based on
events that take place within Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” and centers around
Hamlet’s two misguided friends.

STAGE, co-producer of the show, has been recognized for acting and
production by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Conference.

The productions are set for 8 p.m. A matinee will be held 2 p.m. April 15.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $4 for students. The box office
opens at 7 p.m. prior to each evening show. Tickets also can be reserved by
calling the Daggy theater box office, 509/335-7236.
