PULLMAN, Wash. — A free concert at Washington State University by
singer-guitarist Dan Maher is one of the highlights of WSU’s Disability
Awareness Week, March 27-31. A university staff member, Maher will perform
from noon-1 p.m. March 31 on the Glenn Terrell Mall.
Disability-related lunchtime discussions will be held in the Compton Union
Building, Room 232, from noon-1 p.m. Monday-Thursday. They include
“Stereotypes and Myths — Breaking Down the Wall” on March 27, “Living
with Disabilities” on March 28, “Employment Resources” on March 29 and
“Recreations” on March 30.
On the evening of March 29, the Disability Awareness “Faculty of the Year”
banquet will be held, beginning at 6 o’clock, in the CUB’s Carey Ballroom.
