Student Injured in Fall

PULLMAN, Wash. — A 19-year-old Washington State University student
sustained two broken ankles and a compression fracture of the spine last night
when she fell approximately 12 feet from the second floor parking level of
Daggy Hall.

Injured was Elizabeth Louise Bixler, who resides at 213 Stephenson East. Bixler
was examined at Pullman Memorial Hospital and transferred to Harborview
Hospital in Seattle for further treatment.

Preliminary investigation appears that the incident is an accident, but further
investigation is continuing.
