Jars of Clay Band to Perform Oct. 29 at WSU

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Grammy Award-winning band, Jars of Clay, will bring its program of modern Christian rock music to Washington State University’s Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum Oct. 29.
All seats for the 8 p.m. program are general admission, and can be purchased in advance for $17.50 or $20 the evening of the show. Tickets are available at the Coliseum box office and all G&B Select-a-Seat outlets. Tickets also can be ordered by calling 800/325-SEAT. Group ticket sales information is available by calling 509/335-3748.
On its self-titled debut album, Jars of Clay coined a signature sound that wed gentle balladry with aggressive acoustic-driven rock. On its second release, “Much Afraid,” the band reached new heights of creativity and imagination and depths of insights that critics say continue to challenge and inspire. The group will perform its newest release, “If I Left the Zoo,” due in stores Nov. 9, at the WSU concert.
In the last four years, the band also has earned three Dove Awards and had two platinum-selling albums.
