WSU Residence Halls Available for Football Weekends

PULLMAN, Wash. — Visitors to Washington State University will have a chance to sample
on-campus living this fall. WSU Housing Services is bringing back its popular Football Weekend
Hotel, which makes dorm rooms available to visiting fans.
Pullman area motels are generally booked full for the upcoming football weekends and the
dorm rooms will help accommodate visitors.
University housing officials say that about 96 double and 10 single dorm rooms are available
in the Streit-Perham complex.
Dorm rooms have been rented before at WSU, but the practice was suspended last year
because of unusually high student occupancy rates. Extra dorm space has typically been used
for conferences and other events that bring visitors to campus.
The rooms will cost $70 for a weekend. Visitors who rent the rooms will also receive
Saturday and Sunday breakfast at the nearby Regents Hall dining center.
More information about the dorms and the Football Weekend Hotel is available at the WSU
University Housing web site, .
