Graduate Student Orientation Set Aug. 16

PULLMAN, Wash. — More than 200 new and returning Washington State University
graduate and professional students are expected to participate in a half-day orientation program
Monday, Aug. 16.
The program begins at 1:30 p.m. in the Compton Union Building Cascade Room, with
comments from university and city officials.
Graduate School programs and assistantships, as well as the WSU Libraries, campus safety,
the Graduate and Professional Student Association and graduate student benefits are among
discussion topics.
An information fair and reception is planned for 4:30-6 p.m. in the CUB Carey Ballroom. A
tour of the Graduate and Professional Study Center in Holland Library will complete the
orientation.
The program is hosted by the Graduate School and GPSA.
