WSU Theater Box Office to Open for Palace Tickets

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University theater ticket box office opens Monday, June 7, as Pullman’s Summer Palace prepares to kick off its 34th season.
Box office hours are 1:30-4 p.m. Monday through Friday during the 1999 summer run. Tickets can be ordered by calling 509/335-7236 or visiting the box office at Daggy Hall.
On June 24, the season begins with the romantic comedy “The Fourposter.” The play chronicles a couple from their wedding night in 1890 through 35 years of joys and hardships during their marriage. “The Fourposter” continues June 25-26 and July 1-3.
“A Tuna Christmas” follows July 8-10 and 15-17. The sequel to “Greater Tuna” brings back two freewheeling disc jockeys who take the audience on a tour of the third smallest town in Texas and its citizens during Christmas.
The season concludes with the musical fantasy “The Wizard of Oz,” which celebrates its 99th book anniversary and 60th film anniversary this year. It will run July 22-24 and 29-31.
All shows begin at 8 p.m. in Daggy Hall’s R.R. Jones Theatre.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for senior citizens and $4 for WSU students and youth. Dramacards include tickets to all three shows at $20 for adults, $15 for senior citizens and $9 for WSU students and youth. All seats are reserved, with priority seating given to dramacard holders.
