WSU Academic Advisers Continue Visits in Wenatchee

PULLMAN, Wash. — Academic advisers for Washington State University’s Extended Degree Program continue a series of information sessions with an appearance in Wenatchee on Nov. 3.
The Extended Degree Program offers individuals an opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree without attending classes on campus. Advisers will be available to answer questions concerning admissions, financial aid and degree requirements.
The information session will be held from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Conference Room at the WSU Chelan/Douglas Counties Learning Center, located at 400 Washington St.
Enrollment for spring semester opens Nov. 15. Courses in anthropology, biology, criminal justice, human development, English, history, management, marketing, natural resource sciences, political science, psychology, sociology, Spanish and women’s studies will be offered. Students completing the EDP program earn a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences degree.
Courses are conducted using a variety of technologies including satellite, cable TV, video and e-mail. Although most students rent course video tapes directly from the university, branch campuses and Learning Center offices around the state have tapes available for check-out or on-site viewing.
Further information about the Extended Degree Program may be obtained by calling 800/222-4WSU.
