Stay Connected with the WSU Alert System
Welcome to another academic year at Washington State University!
All WSU faculty, staff, and students are automatically enrolled in the WSU Alert System. We encourage you to log in to your MyWSU account to review your contact information and add additional delivery methods, such as a home or mobile phone number.
When WSU issues an emergency alert, notifications are primarily delivered via text message (SMS), voice call, or email. Adding multiple delivery methods increases the likelihood that you will receive important information during an emergency.
Emergency Information
Emergency notifications are designed to be brief and provide essential information. For additional details and ongoing updates during an emergency, please visit www.alert.wsu.edu. When available, this site will provide more comprehensive information and updates.
WSU may also share emergency information through its official social media channels.
Community Alerts
If you know someone who lives in the Pullman area and would like to receive WSU emergency notifications, they can enroll in text-only alerts by texting WSUALERTS26 to 888-777.
System Test
WSU campuses systemwide will conduct an emergency alert system test during the first month of classes. Additional information will be provided as the test date approaches.
