Today and tomorrow: Career Expo & Technical Fair (Oct. 3–4)

All WSU students from all majors, and others seeking jobs and internships, are invited to participate in this fall’s Career Expo and Technical Fair set for Oct. 3 and 4, as well as preparatory events leading up to those dates. Please encourage your students to attend!

More than 250 employers will be represented at this year’s career fair, and many are Coug owned. About 70 percent of employers are offering internships.

A virtual fair is set from 3-6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3; prospective participants should register on the Handshake employment portal on the website.  They should also register if planning to attend the in-person event from noon-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, in Beasley Coliseum at WSU Pullman. A van shuttle will run between the CUB and Beasley.

Co-hosts of the event are the Academic Success and Career Center (ASCC), part of the Division of Academic Engagement and Student Achievement in the provost’s office, and the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture.

Expo participants can find clothing to define their professional look for Expo by visiting the Cougar Closet.

Faculty and staff are also encouraged to attend the career fair to connect academia to the employers there, and to learn from recruiters about job skills in demand for students.
