Employee Assistance Program Overviews Planned for May 10

Washington State University provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as part of its employee benefit package.  It is a free and confidential service available to WSU employees.

The EAP assists in identifying, managing, and resolving personal and work-related issues that may affect job performance or quality of life issues. It provides counseling, education, and consultation services to improve job performance, worker health, and the well-being of employees.

On May 10, representatives from the EAP will present information describing these services and how to access them.  Two types of sessions will be available this day:

  • For all interested employees: General overviews of the EAP and its services
  • For managers and supervisors: General overview of the EAP with additional information on using EAP to effectively manage difficult employee situations
