Managed by WSU’s Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, the Jones Milestone Accelerator is now accepting applications from seniors and recent WSU graduates who are working to launch their own companies.
The Jones Milestone Accelerator is a six-month program that helps emerging companies set a path to success. Accepted teams will be coached by a personalized team of entrepreneurship mentors, connect with WSU’s extensive network of corporate and community partners, and have access to a coworking space on WSU’s campus. Upon completion of the program, teams who have met their milestones will also receive up to $10,000 in additional funding to get their ventures to the next growth stage. Stipends to support work during the accelerator may also be available.
The Jones Milestone Accelerator will accept three teams to their 2019-2020 cohort. The first three months of this program take place in Pullman, Washington. All team members must be able to meet in person on a monthly basis until August. (Alternative location in Spokane will be considered on a case-by-case basis.) The CEO of the company must be either a Washington State University student who is graduating in less than one year or an alumnus/a who has graduated within the last five years.
Applications will be accepted through April 15. Applying teams must be prepared to submit a business plan and slide deck after the initial application screening.
The 2019-2020 Jones Milestone Accelerator program will begin in May 2019. To learn more, please visit our website or contact Allison Sellers (allison.sellers@wsu.edu).
