Celebrate Black History Month in February

Black History Month events will be held throughout the month of February at the WSU Pullman campus and in the local area. We invite everyone in the campus community to join us in celebrating black Americans’ achievements and the central role they play in U.S. history.

Throughout the month, we are hosting film screenings, social and cultural events, career workshops for students, and more. Some highlights include the annual Black Student Union unity banquet, screenings of films such as Queen and Slim and Just Mercy, and a poetry reading with award-winning poet Jericho Brown.

Black History Month is organized by the African American Student Center and Multicultural Student Services in partnership with organizations such as the Black Student Union, SEB, and many more.
