Bertha C. and Roy E. Leigh Distinguished Lecture in Economics — School of Economic Sciences

The School of Economic Sciences invites you to the Leigh Lecture on Thursday, April 11, at 4:30 p.m. in CUE 203 on the Pullman campus. The talk, titled “Economists as Engineers: Matchmaking and Market Design,” will be presented by Dr. Alvin Roth, the Craig and Susan McCaw Professor of Economics at Stanford University.

He received the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences in 2012 jointly with Professor Lloyd Shapley “for the theory of stable allocations and the practice of market design,” and was president of the American Economic Association in 2017.
