Zoom is a cloud software as a service (SaaS) telecommunication tool that eliminates barriers created by schedules, distance, or licenses. Long-term benefits of Zoom include reduced teleconferencing costs and more standardized teleconferencing process and equipment requirements throughout WSU locations. The new software supports both the business and academic needs of WSU across numerous applications including Blackboard Learn, the new cloud network authentication system, and integrates well with Office 365.
