The week of November 13 through 19, is the World Health Organization’s World Antibiotic Awareness Week. The reason for this campaign is to encourage all of us to do our part to reduce antibiotic resistance across the globe. This year, faculty from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University will be helping our region understand the complex issue of antibiotic resistance by providing daily updates on outreach, research and other activities in the College focused on reducing the burden of antibiotic resistance.
