What’s new this month for Modernization?

This month, the Modernization Team released resources including a new blog post about training, a recent video about organizational charts, and a web page for cutover.

On the blog, this post discusses actions you can take now that will readily prepare you for training in October.

Another post introduces the newest 5 Major Changes handout. This handout gives an overview about what to expect for changes coming to time, leave, and absence.

To learn about organizational charts found in Workday, check out this new YouTube video. Employees will be able to view their reporting relationships, which was not offered before at WSU.

The Modernization Team also has several other YouTube videos to watch and share. The videos are organized by playlists, including Workday Q&A, Workday Core Concepts, and Workday for WSU.

Cutover is essential to the implementation of Workday at WSU because the data from about 30 different systems used for administrative and financial business functions will be transitioned to Workday. This web page is designed to provide updates while the University moves forward to the new system.

Visit this web page to subscribe to the Modernization newsletter and read previous issues. You’ll never miss an update.
