“What Is the Value of Free Speech?” A Public Square Discussion, Oct. 26

Recently in America, free speech has come to the forefront with protests, rallies, and the media. Why is free speech such a divisive, but necessary component of our democracy? What does “free speech” really mean? Join us at the CCE Public Square to learn from a diverse panel about the value of free speech and how it influences the WSU community and society as a whole. This event will take place on Thursday, October 26, from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m., in Butch’s Den (CUB L60).

Pullman students should register for this event on CougSync. Public Square discussions are free and open to the public.

Global Campus students can join the discussion on CCE’s YouTube channel. To participate in the discussion, students should use their personal YouTube account.
