Tonight – White Rose Film Series: Steven Spielberg’s Schindler’s List

As part of the WSU hosting of the White Rose Exhibit a presentation of Schindler’s List will be held tonight in CUE 203 at 7 p.m. Katherine Patterson of the WSU History Department will introduce the film.

“In Poland during World War II, Oskar Schindler gradually becomes concerned for his Jewish workforce after witnessing their persecution by the Nazis.” IMDB.com

This is the first film in the White Rose Exhibit Film Series, which also includes:

Feb. 18: Sophie Scholl: The Final Days (Sophie Scholl: Die Letzten Tage), introduced by Dr. Rachel Halverson, Associate Professor of German, Marianna Merritt and Donald E. Matteson Distinguished Professor and Associate Chair, Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures.

Feb. 25: Valkyrie, introduced by Dr. Torsten Homberger of the Department of History.

All showings are free and open to the public.
