Seminar: Layered sodium cathode materials: From atomic level understanding to high performance material

Presented by Dr. Biwei Xiao, Scientific Staff, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Battery Materials and Systems Group on November 14, in ETRL 101 at 11 a.m.

Dr. Biwei Xiao is a Staff Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in the Battery Materials & Systems Group. Prior to that, he was a Ph.D. student at The University of Western Ontario, Canada and an intern at General Motors. His research has been associated with the synthesis, modification and mechanism study of electrode materials for sodium-ion batteries and lithium-ion batteries, thin-film deposition techniques, carbonaceous materials and synchrotron radiation techniques
