Protecting your information in Workday

Here are important items to note when signing into WSU’s new payroll, finance, and human resources software, Workday. Employees and faculty must use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to log in to the system. This includes entering your WSU Network ID (NID) and password.

As a best practice, always remember to sign out of Workday and close your browser window or the app when you are finished, especially on shared machines.

To protect confidential data within Workday, you will be automatically signed out after 15 to 20 minutes of inactivity. You will be asked to sign back in with MFA. Check out this Knowledge Base article for more information.
