Planning an MLK activity?

Are you thinking about planning an activity to commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday? If so, WSU’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration planning committee would like to know.

Two dynamic speakers have already been secured—civil rights activist Diane Nash, Jan. 22, and best-selling author and scholar Michael Dyson, Jan. 29. For more information about these speakers, visit http://mlk.wsu.edu.

The MLK planning committee encourages WSU students, faculty, staff and community groups to contribute their own creativity in honoring Dr. King. It would like to include planned campus-wide activities in WSU’s official schedule of MLK events.

Please contact Marc Robinson, director of WSU’s Culture and Heritage Houses, marc_robinson@wsu.edu or 509-339-6172.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience.
