Office 365 Mail Migration Presentations and Q&A

On February 20, Dr. Sasi Pillay, WSU Vice President and CIO, Information Technology Services, sent a note to all WSU Faculty and Staff using the central Exchange mail service on the project to move mail to the Office 365 Cloud.

ITS is offering presentations for the University community to learn about the Office 365 Mail Migration.  The first two sessions are geared towards Departmental IT Support Staff, but anyone who has an interest can join in.  After these four sessions, we will schedule weekly sessions but will play to a smaller audience and room.

These first four are hour-long sessions, all to be held in FSHN T101 in Pullman on the dates and times shown below.  In addition to coming in person, you can also participate using Skype for Business.   These will NOT be aired over the AMS system, so people at remote sites will need to use Skype for Business to join.

You do not need to register for these sessions.   However, space in the room is limited to about 144 people, so it may be standing-room only for some of the sessions if we get a good crowd (and people decide they want to hit Ferdinand’s while they are in the neighborhood).

Dates and Times

Mornings the first week:

  • Wednesday, March 15th, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, FSHN T101
  • Thursday, March 16th, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, FSHN T101

 Afternoons the following week:

  • Wednesday, March 22nd, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, FSHN T101
  • Thursday, March 23rd, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, FSHN T101

SKYPE MEETING INFORMATION:

Please remember to stay on Mute until the Q&A period and only Unmute to Ask Questions.

Meetings will be recorded for future playback.

There is a limit of 250 Participants in a Skype Meeting, so if you are unable to join, please try another day.  We will also be posting the recording on the Web.  Also, remote sites may want to have people who are interested assemble in a meeting room and participate as a group.
