Early this morning, Information Technology Services (ITS) performed emergency maintenance on critical systems, and this operation may have caused phones to lose their registration to the servers.
If a user’s phone has lost registration, the user should cycle the power on the phone by:
- Unplugging the phone
- Waiting ten seconds
- Plugging it back in again
For Jabber clients:
- Exit the program by selecting the gear icon in the upper-right corner
- Select “Exit”
- Relaunch the program
- Log in as normal
