myWSU changes starting August 19

Information Technology Services (ITS) is implementing a new queue when logging into myWSU during high traffic times, beginning the evening of Wednesday, August 19, 2020.

This queue will manage the number of people allowed to access myWSU to keep the system from becoming overloaded during high usage times, such as during semester start-up and daily COVID-19 attestations. When the maximum number of users is reached, those logging in will be directed to a page notifying them that myWSU traffic is heavy and that they will be redirected back to myWSU again following a two-minute wait. The application will automatically redirect users back to myWSU every two minutes to check if space has become available for access.

Once a user has successfully accessed myWSU, they will not be interrupted unless they log out or their session times out after 30 minutes of inactivity.

For assistance with these changes and other technical support needs, please contact Crimson Service Desk online at crimsonservicedesk.wsu.edu, via email at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu, or by phone at (509) 335-4357.
